As terrible as it sounds, I was stoked that the Dixon’s were racist because it added a lot of depth… and sadly, realism… that I think shows tend to shy away from (as well as the possibility of lots of juicy plots). However, since Merle has disappeared and we’ve learned more about Daryl, this character flaw is disappearing.
I hope in future episodes (especially since Sophia is dead), Daryl will revert somewhat back and this is something that comes out. I hope this doesn’t piss people off. I’m not saying racism is cool or anything, I just think it would be interesting to watch.
So, I just got a little side-tracked ehm :D
